Captain (temp. Major) K. S. Macky, from the Reserve of Officers, temp. to be Captain, and is attached for duty to the 1st Field Battery Regiment of N.Z. Artillery. Dated 22nd April, 1926.
Joseph Wesley Buchanan to be Quartermaster with the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 24th April, 1926.

Notice of Intention to take Land for Historic Purposes in Block VIII, Akaroa Survey District.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for historic purposes :
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Akaroa, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 12·8 perches.
Being portion of Section 547.
Situated in Block VIII, Akaroa Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 1955.)
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65934, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
