Electric Line Regulations.-Public Call Office Telephones

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of
May, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the seventeenth
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-three, and published at page 2449 of a supplement to
the New Zealand Gazette of the thirteenth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, regulations were
made under the authority of the Post and Telegraph Act,
1908, and its amendments (hereinafter termed "the said Act")
fixing, inter alia, the charges for calls from public call offices
(coin-in-the-slot):
And whereas it is expedient to amend such regulations and
charges in the manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act,
and of all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling
him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
Regulation numbered 97, under the heading "Public Call
Offices (Coin-in-the-slot)," in the Schedule to the above-
recited Order in Council, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make
the regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto, and doth
declare that the regulation hereby made shall form part of
and be read together with the regulations first herein men-
tioned, and shall come into force on and after the date of
publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand
Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
97. The charges for calls from public call offices shall be as
follows:-
When the public call office is-
Within the base rate area of the telephone
exchange ... ... ... ... 1d. per call.
Within a distance of three miles beyond the
base rate area boundary of the telephone
exchange ... ... ... ... 2d. ",
Distant more than three miles beyond the
base rate area boundary of the telephone
exchange ... ... ... ... 3d. ",

Dornoch Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the
Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908,
subject to Conditions as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
May, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Dunedin City Council on the fifth day of May,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, viz:-
"That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves
that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen
of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to both sides
of that street in the City of Dunedin, known as Dornoch
Street, where the same abuts on parts of Sections 14, 15,
and 16, Ocean Beach District; as the said street is more
particularly shown by brown colour on the plan hereunto
annexed";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting either
side of Dornoch Street-(described in the Schedule hereto),
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of
the said street, with the exception of Lots 12 and 31, of Section
16 and Lot 40 of Sections 14 and 15, Ocean Beach District,
on which no building or part of a building shall at any time
be erected within a distance of twenty-five feet from the
centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
All that street situated in the Otago Land District, City of
Dunedin, known as Dornoch Street, abutting on Sections 14,
15, and 16 Ocean Beach District. As the said street is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66100,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured burnt sienna.

shall at any time be erected within a distance of twenty-five
feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District
(City of Dunedin), known as Skibo Street, abutting on Sections
13, 14, 15, and 16, Ocean Beach District. As the said portion
of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D 66100, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
