Mining Privileges to be struck off the Registers.—Notice under the Mining Amendment Act, 1914.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the provisions of Section 30 (3) of the Mining Amendment Act, 1914, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary is shown within three months from the date hereof, the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Registers.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of section 30 (3) of the Mining Amendment Act, 1914, that the mining privilege mentioned in the Schedule hereto will, unless sufficient cause to the contrary is previously shown to the Minister, within three months from the date hereof, be struck off the Register.

SCHEDULE.

No. 1865. Date: 14th December, 1906. Nature of privilege: Special quartz claim. Locality: Section XIII, Block X, Reefton Survey District. Registered holder: The Ready Bullion Mining Company (Limited).

SCHEDULE.

  1. ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 1 perch, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section 5, Enuakura.

  2. All that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 3 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section 205, Enuakura.

The said parcels of land are delineated and edged green and red respectively in the plan numbered 18, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the Cook Islands, this 22nd day of April, 1926.

Additional Rules and Regulations under the Law Practitioners Act, 1908.

BY virtue of the powers vested in us by law, we, the undersigned Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, do hereby make the following rules and regulations to come into force as from the making hereof, that is to say:—

I. Clause IV (1) as set out in Rule I of the regulations made on the 21st day of October, 1925, is hereby revoked.

II. Clause IV (1) of the rules and regulations made on the 24th day of April, 1907, is hereby re-enacted and shall be deemed to have continued in existence as if it had never been revoked.

Proclaiming Road under Section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915.

WHEREAS by section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, it is provided that the Minister for the Cook Islands may by warrant proclaim any Crown, European, or Native land as a road:

Now, therefore, I, Maui Pomare, Minister for the Cook Islands, do hereby, in pursuance of the authority so conferred upon me, proclaim as a road the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
