Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and all other powers thereunto him enabling, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby set apart and reserve for the common use of the owners thereof as a landing-place, the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto to be a Native reservation within the meaning of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land situate in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, called or known as Whakarapa No. 43, containing 8 acres 3 roods, and being part of the land comprised in a partition order of the Native Land Court dated the 17th February, 1912.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain to be known as the Ngaruawahia Domain.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

KIRIKIRIOA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections 173 and 174, Suburbs of Newcastle North, Block VII, Newcastle Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 175, Suburbs of Newcastle North, 1000 links; towards the south-east by Section 187, Suburbs of Newcastle North aforesaid, 1000 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 1000 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/253, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

NGARUAWAHIA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section 663A of the Town of Ngaruawahia, containing by admeasurement 8 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Flamstead Street, 1920 links, more or less, and towards the south and west generally by the Waipa River.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of Section 667 of the Town of Ngaruawahia, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 25·54 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a curved line, being the south-western boundary of the railway reserve; towards the south-east by Ellery Street, 560 links; towards the south-west by Herschel Street, 448·18 links; towards the north-west and south-west by the other part of Section 667, 314·77 links and 139·82 links; and again towards the north-west by Kepler Street, 83·04 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section 101 of the Suburbs of Ngaruawahia, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by a railway reserve, 1058·9 links; towards the south-east by Section 81, 549 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 834 links; and towards the north-west by Section 102, 500 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section 123A of the Parish of Horotiu, containing by ad-

measurement 116 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Waikato River; towards the south-east by a public road, 1730 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 914·4 links and 4000 links; and towards the north-east by a public road, 2320 links; and intersected from south-west to north-east by a road reserve, 100 links wide: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/253A, 1/253B, 1/253C, and 1/253D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Validating certain Dates in respect of Preparation of County Rolls, Buller County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1926.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the preparation of the rolls for the County of Buller and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation could not be made and taken within the times mentioned in the Counties Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”):

And whereas the Buller County Council publicly notified that the electors rolls for the various ridings of the said county would be open for inspection from the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and that objections against the said rolls might be lodged until the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six:

And whereas the dates as publicly notified were not those fixed by the said Act:

And whereas it is expedient to validate the dates so irregularly fixed:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section two hundred and sixteen of the Counties Act, 1920, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the dates so publicly notified shall be as valid to all intents and purposes as if the same had been the dates fixed by the said Act, and shall not be called into question by reason only of the irregularity aforesaid.

Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Portobello Road Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a public cemetery: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Portobello Road Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Portobello Road Board, in trust, for a public cemetery.
