Regulations under the Census and Statistics Act, 1910.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing additional matters in regard to which the Government Statistician shall collect statistics.

REGULATIONS.

  1. In addition to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (j) of section 21 of the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, the Statistician shall, subject to that section, collect statistics relating to the operations of each Rabbit Board and Rabbit-proof Fencing Board constituted under Part II, Part III, or Part IV of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908.

  2. The Chairman, Secretary, Clerk, or any other officer of a Board controlling a Rabbit District or Rabbit-proof Fencing District shall, on application duly made, furnish annually to the Statistician the particulars in the form set out in the Schedule hereto, and in accordance with the instructions that may accompany such form or that may be issued by the Statistician.

  3. The person supplying the information for each district shall sign the form and transmit it to the Government Statistician by post or otherwise.

  4. Every such form shall be transmitted to the Government Statistician to reach him not later than the 30th day of June in each year.

Important.—This Return is required by law to be furnished by 30th June, 192.
