Classification of Roads in the Woodville County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Motor-lorry Regulations, 1925, and the Motor-lorry Regulations Amendment No. 1, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, do hereby alter the Woodville County Council’s proposed classification of roads, and do hereby approve such altered classification as set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
CLASSIFICATION OF ROADS IN THE WOODVILLE COUNTY.
Roads classified in the first class (available for use thereon of any motor-lorry)—
All those portions of the Wellington-Napier via Wairarapa and Woodville-Palmerston North Main Highways situated within the Woodville County.
Roads classified in the second class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 8 tons)—
Woodlands; Sowry; Oxford; Mill; Range; Pinfold; Elliott; Valley; Victoria; Troup; Ormond; Broomfields; Priests; Judd; Holder; Riverbank; Harding; Davey; Otawhao; Totara; Kumeroa; Price; Coppermine; Maharahara; Kearney’s; Top Grass; Freelands; Graham; Kiritaki; Oringi.
Roads classified in the third class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 6 tons)—
Whariti, Saddle, Druce, and Gaisford Roads within the County of Woodville and under the control and jurisdiction of the Woodville County Council.
Roads classified in the fourth class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 4 tons)—
Harris, Pahaheke Track, Grainger, Jackson, and Corby Roads within the County of Woodville and under the control and jurisdiction of the Woodville County Council.

Ngahape Road; Tourere Road; Hamilton’s Road; Flemingston Road; Farm Road; Mount Herbert-Mangatarata Road; Middleton Road; Mount Herbert Road; Marakeke Road; Waiu Road.

Roads classified in the first class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry)—
Ahaura-Amuri Road, from junction with road to Ahaura Railway-station to 29-mile peg; Grey Valley-Taramakau Road, from junction with main highway, near Nelson Creek Bridge, to 20-mile peg.
Roads classified in the second class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 8 tons)—
Paroa-Marsden-Dunganville Road, from junction with main highway at Paroa to Marsden. Loop line of main highway from Ngahere to 18 miles 43·16 chains. Granville Road, from main highway to crossing of Greymouth-Reefton Railway-line near Totara Flat Railway-station. Waterson Road, from junction with Ahaura-Amuri Road to 25½-mile peg. Greymouth-Barrytown-Westport Road, from Cobden’s Bridge to Runanga. Grey Valley Road, from junction with Ngahere-Blackball-Roa Road to Moonlight Creek. Ngahere-Blackball-Roa Road, from junction with main highway at Ngahere to junction with road to Blackball Railway-station. Greymouth-Marsden-Kumara Road, from 16-mile peg to Taramakau Bridge.
Roads classified in the third class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 6 tons)—
That portion of Paroa-Marsden-Dunganville Road from Card’s Creek Bridge at Marsden to Dunganville. That portion of the Grey Valley-Taramakau Road between 20-mile peg and 23¾-mile peg. That portion of Greymouth-Barrytown-Westport Road from Runanga to Granite Creek Bridge, Barrytown. Grey Valley Road, from junction with Greymouth-Barrytown-Westport Road to Brunner.
Roads classified in the fourth class (available for the use thereon of any motor-lorry which, with the maximum load it is licensed to carry, weighs not more than 4 tons)—
