Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set
out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Auckland Land District, being
part Section 17D No. 1, Block IX, Te Aroha Survey District,
comprising that area of land 1 acre 3 roods 25 perches bounded
on the north-west by other part of Section 17D No. 1, on
the north-east by Koromiko Street, on the south-east by
Brick Street, and on the south-west by Whitaker Street.

Also that area of 2 acres 0 roods 8 perches bounded on the

the east generally by Section 17D No. 6 of Block IX aforesaid,
on the south-west by Rata Street, and on the north-west

The total of the above-described areas being 32 acres
2 roods 18.5 perches, more or less.

General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued

Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of
the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909,
and its amendments :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set
out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
