WRITTEN tenders will be received up to noon on the 31st August, 1926, at the office of the Railway Board, Wellington, New Zealand, for the erection of new locomotive workshops at Hutt Valley, near Wellington.

Dredger operating.
THE Auckland Harbour Board notify that Dredger “Hapai,” which has six moorings laid out in varying directions, is now moored approximately 286° 500 ft. from the north-western corner of Prince's Wharf, and is depositing dredged material within an area bounded by the following lines westward of Western Breakwater, commencing at a position 150 ft. inside Western Breakwater end; thence 286° 450 ft. to a position defined by a small black buoy; thence 223° to north wall.
Vessels must not pass through the area in which the dredged material is being deposited.
Publications affected: Admiralty Chart No. 1970 and “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” 1926, plan facing page 244.
