Special Order passed by the Te Kuiti Borough Council declaring

THE following special order made by the Te Kuiti Borough
Council is published in accordance with the provisions
of the Noxious Weeds Act.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THAT the Te Kuiti Borough Council, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by the Noxious Weeds Act,
1908, hereby declares the plant known as gorse (Ulex europæus)
to be a noxious weed within the Borough of Te Kuiti.

The above special order was passed at a special meeting
of the Te Kuiti Borough Council on 12th October, 1925, and
confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council on 9th
November, 1925.

Trustees of the Mount Benger Rabbit Board elected.—Notice
No. Ag. 2539.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices
of the Peace Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson,
Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the
Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster
under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at the places set
opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to
take and receive statutory declarations under the two-
hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the
Peace Act, 1908.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of
Postal Correspondence in New Zealand for Persons con-
nected with “Mosman Thousand” Art Union, Sydney.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand
having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of any of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to any of the said persons (either by his or her own or any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to any of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
