NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company (incorporated 1909) will be held at the registered office of the GORE PUBLISHING COMPANY (LIMITED), incorporated 1920, Mersey Street, Gore, on Monday, the 7th day of December, 1925, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of laying before the meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of.

MAC KENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Mackenzie County Irishman's Creek-Balmoral Telephone-line Loan of £300, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting telephone-lines, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ³⁄₈ of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Irishman's Creek-Balmroal Special-rating District of the County of Mackenzie: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—SUPPLEMENTARY LOAN OF £4,000, EREWHON RIDING.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Rangitikei County Erewhon Riding Supplementary Loan of £4,000, 1925, being 10 per cent. additional to a loan of £40,000, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the construction of a public work within the Erewhon Riding of the Rangitikei County, and comprising the formation of roads, the metalling of roads for the first time, the erection of a bridge over the Rangitikei River on the Mowhango-Napier Road, the erection of a bridge over the same river on the Matawhero Road, and the acquiring of machinery and plant necessary for the carrying-out of such public work (such latter amount being insufficient to complete the works for which such loan was raised), the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five thirty-eighths (5/38ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Erewhon Riding of the county; and that such special rate

shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
