THE following is a complete list, arranged in alphabetical order, in two parts, of candidates who, in the Public Service Entrance, Senior National Scholarship, and Intermediate Examinations of November, 1924, satisfied the requirements for a Senior Free Place. The numbers given indicate the candidates' positions in order of merit in the Public Service list.
Included in the list are the names of the candidates sitting for examination for the purpose-
(a.) of entering the Public Service (order of merit list above);
(b.) Of qualifying for a Senior National Scholarship (alphabetical list preceding): and
(c.) Of qualifying for Senior Free Places in Secondary Schools, District High Schools, and Technical Schools.
Those whose names are included in Part I of the list have passed the examination "with credit." By clause 8 of the regulations made by Order in Council of the 17th May, 1915, in order to pass the examination "with credit" the candidate must pass the examination and obtain not less than 60 per centum of the total possible marks obtainable.
