Authorizing the Grey Electric-power Board to construct Electric Works.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1925.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section forty-nine of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, as amended by section seventeen of the Electric-power Boards Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Grey Electric-power Board to construct the works indicated in the plans and documents marked P.W.D. 60243, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, for the purpose of enabling the Board to utilize steam for the purpose of generating electrical energy; and also to erect electric lines as shown on the plans marked P.W.D. 61807 and 61808, and deposited as hereinbefore mentioned, and such further lines as may from time to time be required in the Grey Electric-power District and outer area of such district as hereinafter defined, and transformers and substations for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in the said district and outer area as defined by Proclamation dated the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.

No electric lines shall be used for the distribution of electrical energy until the Grey Electric-power Board has obtained a license for such purposes in accordance with the provisions of section 2 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911.

Any conditions inserted in such license shall be strictly complied with by such Board.

Before the works are commenced such Board shall forward for the approval of the Minister of Public Works detail plans of the transmission-lines and such further plans and particulars as the Minister may require. The Board shall, before commencing the erection of any electric lines shown on the above plans, obtain the consent thereto of the Railways and Post and Telegraph Departments.

The Board shall not, without the consent in writing of the Minister of Public Works, erect any electric lines along the routes of the Government main trunk transmission-lines when surveyed.

The works hereby authorized shall be constructed so as to comply with the regulations made under section 2 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, dated the 9th day of October, 1922, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th day of the same month, or any regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein.

The Board shall substantially complete the works hereby authorized within a period of two years from the date of this Order in Council, or within such further time as the Minister may allow in the event of the work being delayed by strikes, lockouts, breakdowns, or other unavoidable causes not due to any neglect of the Board.

Declaring Portion of Aramahoe Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Aramahoe Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at a point fourteen chains east of the south-west corner of Section 10, Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 10, and part Section 9, Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, and Section 8 and part Sections 7 and 1, Block III, Rangi Survey District, and terminating at a point approximately 25 chains south-east of the boundary between the said Sections 8 and 7, being a distance of 1 mile 52 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61761, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

ALL that portion of the Waihuka Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at a point on the boundary between Section 77D No. 2 and Section 7, Waihuka Loan Block, Block VII, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 7, Waihuka Loan Block, Block VII, Tangitu Survey District, and terminating at a point 12 chains north-east of the boundary between the said Section 7 and Section 77D 3B No. 2, Block VII, Tangitu Survey District, being a distance of 22 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61760, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Kaitaia Town District not to be Part of County of Mangonui.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1925.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the Governor-General is satisfied that the population of the Kaitaia Town District, in the County of Mangonui, exceeds five hundred, and the Town Board of the said Kaitaia Town District has made application that the said town district shall not form part of the County of Mangonui, being the county within the boundaries of which it is situated:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1908 (No. 2), and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the Kaitaia Town District shall not form part of the County of Mangonui.
