ERRATUM.-In the Proclamation dated 5th September,
1925, taking additional land at Frankton for the pur-
poses of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway and published in the
New Zealand Gazette No. 63, of 10th September, 1925, page
2541, in the 26th item in Schedule, for “29·31 perches” read
“2 roods 29·31 perches.”

Land taken for the Purposes of Workers' Dwellings in Block
XI, Waikari Survey District, Waipara County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of workers' dwellings
and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants
of the County of Waipara as from the date hereinafter men-
tioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the third day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 7 acres o roods
4·5 perches, being portion of R.S. 7538 and R.S. 29815.
Situated in Block XI, Waikari Survey District (Canterbury
R.D.). (S.O. 1904.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62827,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
September, 1925.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Subdivisions of the
Kopua, Parihoro, Takotokoraha, and Kakepuku Blocks, to
be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court
made on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-five, duly laid off as road-lines, in pursuance of
sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment
Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is
in the public interest that the said road-lines should be
proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect
has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of
section fifty-one of the said Act :
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines
should be proclaimed as public roads :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections
forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act,
1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable
do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in
the Schedule hereto.
