THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Matahi Road in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, commencing at its junction with Rendall Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Section 4 and Sections 2, 5, 3, 8, 7, 10, and Scenic Reserves 13 and 14, Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Rotorua - Te Teko Road ; being a distance of 3 miles 38 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 63927, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of the Mangapurua Valley Road, in the Waimarino County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of September, 1925.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Mangapurua Valley Road, in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, commencing at a point opposite the Mangapurua Trig., approximately 20 chains west of the boundary between Sections 6 and 6A, Block III, Whirinaki Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Sections 6 and 2 and Section 7, Block III, Whirinaki Survey District, and part Section 9 and Section 5, Block II, Whirinaki Survey District, and terminating at the south-western corner of the said Section 5; being a distance of 3 miles 40 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 63651, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring a Portion of Road in Highway District No. 6, Waitomo and Kawhia Counties, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of the gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

WAITOMO Caves - Lemon Point : All that portion of the road known as the Waitomo Caves - Lemon Point Road, commencing at a point 30 chains west of the eastern boundary

of Section 7, Block IX, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction via the Mangapohue Road, and terminating at a point 20 chains west of the eastern boundary of "L" 28 1, Block XI, Kawhia Survey District, passing through the Counties of Waitomo and Kawhia ; being a distance of 7 miles 31 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 55, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked M-N on plan.

Declaring a Portion of a Main Highway, in Highway District No. 6, Kaitieke County, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of the gazetting of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

RAURIMU - WADE'S Landing Road: All that portion of the Raurimu - Wade's Landing Main Highway, commencing at the Retaruke River Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly, westerly, south-westerly, and westerly direction, and terminating at Wade's Landing, passing through the County of Kaitieke, being a distance of 16 miles 72 chains, more or less; marked L-M on plan. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 55, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue, and marked as above mentioned.

Declaring a Public Highway, in No. 4 Highway District, to be a Main Highway.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of September, 1925.

Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council the public highway mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be a main highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act, 1922.

SCHEDULE.

TOLAGA Bay Harbour Road : All that portion of the public highway known as the Tolaga Bay Harbour Road, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne-Opotiki (via the Coast) Main Highway at 34 mile peg, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly and north-easterly direction, and terminating at the north-west corner of road and landing reserve near the Tolaga Bay Wharf, passing through the County of Uawa, being a distance of 75 chains, more or less. As the said public highway is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 22, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
