We, the undersigned, being the auditors of the Auckland Savings-bank appointed in terms of section 4 of the Savings-banks Amendment Act, 1923, hereby certify—
(1.) That we are satisfied that the foregoing balance-sheet
has been properly drawn up from the books, accounts, and
vouchers of the Savings-bank so as to exhibit a true and
correct view of the state of the Savings-bank's affairs
as at the 31st March, 1925, in accordance with the requirements of the Savings-banks Amendment Act, 1923.
(2.) That we have verified the cash, investments, securities, and assets of the Savings-bank as at the 31st March, 1925.
(3.) That we have obtained all the information and explanations we have required. (4.) That the manager has certified that all the requirements of the Savings-banks Act, 1908, and amendments, have been complied with.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Road Boards Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and their amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the TAMAKI ROAD BOARD proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the equipment and working of a quarry, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Board, situate at Wharfe Road, St. Helier's Bay, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-
