Warrant disallowing Part of the Joint Heavy Traffic By-law
made by the Southland and Wallace County Councils.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the development of water-power (Lake
Coleridge scheme); and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the second day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section 139 of the Public Works Act, 1908, I, George
James Anderson, Minister of Mines, acting for Joseph
Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, do hereby dis-
allow clause 31 of the Joint Heavy Traffic By-law made by
the Southland and Wallace County Councils on the 25th
day of January, 1924.
As witness my hand at Wellington this 23rd day of
January, 1925.
