NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt County Council
proposes to take under the provisions of the Public
Works Act, 1908, and the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and all
others Acts in that behalf it enabling, all that piece or parcel
of land, being one hundred and forty-one acres three roods
thirty-four perches (141 acres 3 roods 34 perches), being
Section 45 and part Section 44, Hutt District, and part
Lot 16 on deposited plan No. 1680, and being part Section 44,
Hutt, Block X, Belmont Survey District, for the purpose of
an addition to the Taita Cemetery; and that a plan of the
land has been deposited in the Taita Post-office and is there
open for inspection on all week-days between the hours of
9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the ex-
ception of Saturdays, when the hours are 9 a.m. to noon.
The above land is to be taken subject to the interest of John
Warneford Wilmor McKenzie, of the Taita, Settler, acquired
under an unregistered deed of lease dated the Ist day of
June, 1923, from Mary Ann McKenzie, of the Taita, Settler,
a copy of which lease has been deposited with the plan.
All persons having any objection to the taking of the said
land are requested to send in such objection within forty
days from the first publication of this notice-namely, the
23rd day of January, 1925, to the Hutt County Council.
