NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between FREDERICK CHARLES DAVIDSON and ROBERT PALMER, carrying on business as Merchants at Rotorua, under the style or firm of “F. C. Davidson and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of December, 1924, so far as concerns the said ROBERT PALMER, who retires from the said firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned JAMES BUTLER, JOHN THOMAS BUTLER, and CHARLES JOSEPH BUTLER, carrying on business at Winton and elsewhere in Southland as Contractors under the style of “J. J. and C. Butler,” has been dissolved as from the 4th day of February, 1925, by mutual consent.
All liabilities of the late firm will be discharged by the above-named James Butler and John Thomas Butler, who will carry on the business under the style of “J. and J. Butler.”

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, JAMES BUTLER and JOHN THOMAS BUTLER, carrying on business at Winton and elsewhere in Southland as Contractors under the style of “J. and J. Butler,” has been dissolved as from the 27th day of April, 1925, by mutual consent.
Each of the said parties shall carry on in his name a similar business to that heretofore carried on by the said Partnership.

In the matter of a Bill intituled An Act to amend the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Act, 1914, and the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Act, 1924.
NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be made by petition to the General Assembly for leave to bring in a Bill during the ensuing session of Parliament.
The object of such application is to obtain legislative power to repeal section 7 of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Act, 1914, and to provide that the net rents and profits arising from the land described in the First Schedule to the said Act, or the income arising from the proceeds of the sale thereof, shall be employed, in such shares and proportions as the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland for the time being deems proper, for the maintenance and support of the schools mentioned in the said Act, whether or not such schools shall be situated on the lands mentioned in the First and Second Schedules to the said Act respectively.
A further object is to extend the definition of the term “Hereditaments” in section 2 of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Act, 1924, so as to enable such term to apply to land or chattel interests in land now or hereafter vested in the said Bishop jointly or in common with another or others, and to enable the said land to be sold or disposed of.
Copies of the said Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders, Wellington, within seven days after the commencement of the ensuing session of the General Assembly.

WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waipukurau County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public works—namely, the formation of a public road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situate in Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary business hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers aforesaid.

Area of parcel of land to be taken: 2 roods 4·4 perches. Being portion of Block No. 77. Coloured on plan pink. Situate in Porangahau C.G.D.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between RICHARD URIDGE and MARCUS PHILIP POOL in the business of Grocers and Provision-merchants at Eastbourne has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of April, 1925. Mr. URIDGE will continue to carry on business at the same address, and will receive all moneys payable to and pay all debts owing by the Partnership.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between MARK GREEN and CHARLES DAVIS, carrying on business as Drapers under the style of “Green and Davis,” at 174 Lambton Quay, Wellington, has been dissolved as from the 1st day of February, 1925, the said CHARLES DAVIS having retired from the said business, which is now being carried on by “MARK GREEN (LIMITED).” All debts owing to the late Partnership business and all out-goings due by the same will be collected and settled respectively by MARK GREEN (LIMITED).
