Lands set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22,
I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the first column of the Schedule hereto and shown edged green on plans deposited in the District Lands and Survey Office, Hokitika, under the numbers indicated in the said column, the said lands being portions of provisional State forests as set forth in the second column of the said Schedule, and proclaimed as indicated in the third column of the said Schedule, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forests and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
