the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an
Order in Council dated the fifth day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette
of the eighth day of that month, appointing a Domain
Board to have control of the Raurimu Domain, and doth
hereby appoint
John William Hutson,
Francis Joseph Karam,
Timothy Joseph Bowler,
Lewis Arthur Fowler,
John Connors,
Frederick Rowland Lacon, and
Edwin Thomas Beaven
to be the Raurimu Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Thursday, the fifth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-five, at half-past seven o’clock
p.m., as the time when, and Raurimu Public Hall, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

RAURIMU DOMAIN.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 5, Block IV, Town of Raurimu; and Section 22,
Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District: Area, 20 acres 0 roods

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Samuel Spedding,
Claude John Willis,
Francis Baunton,
Oscar Ernest Duncan,
James Goddard,
John Flinders Scott,
Albert Henry Adams,
John Edward Garland, and
John William Trist
to be the Hillsborough Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Tuesday, the twenty-seventh day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, at half-past five
o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Hillsborough Domain
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be
held.

SCHEDULE.
HILLSBOROUGH DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less,
being Reserve 3803, Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District,
comprised in certificate of title, Volume 250, folio 51, Canter-
bury Registry. Bounded towards the north by Lots 12,
13, 14, on D.P. 1261, 1474·3 links; thence towards the north-
east by Opawa Road, 215·4 links; thence towards the south-
east and south by other part of Rural Section 91, 434 links,
185·2 links, and 1254·5 links respectively; and thence towards
the west by a public road, 624·3 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1/222, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

time when, and the Marima Hall as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
MARIMA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
21 acres 1 rood 2 perches, more or less, being Section No. 58,
Block X, Mangahao Survey District. Bounded towards the
north-east by Section No. 57, 440·1 links; towards the south-
east generally by the Tutaekara Road, 288·3 links, 638·7 links,
and 775·9 links; by the crossing of a public road on a line
forming the northern side of the Tutaekara Road, 197·2 links,
and again by the Tutaekara Road, 361·8 links; and towards
the south-west and north generally by a river-bank reserve
one chain wide along the bank of the Mangahao River: save
and except a public road which crosses the south-western
corner of the above-described area: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on a plan
marked 1/255, deposited at the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Increasing Borrowing-powers of Wanganui Fire Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
January, 1925.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section thirty-nine of the
Finance Act, 1920, as amended by section forty-two
of the Finance Act, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as “the
said sections”), that the Governor-General in Council may,
on the application of any Fire Board established under the
Fire Brigades Act, 1908, extend the powers of that Board to
borrow moneys in excess of the limits fixed by section six
of the Fire Brigades Amendment Act, 1908:
And whereas application has been made by the Board of
the Wanganui Fire District for increase in the borrowing-
powers of the said Board, as provided by the said sections,
and it is desirable to grant such request:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities vested in him by the said sections,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that
the powers of the said Wanganui Fire Board to borrow moneys
in excess of the limits fixed by section six of the Fire Brigades
Amendment Act, 1908, are hereby extended, but so as not
to exceed the sum of thirty thousand pounds:
Provided that no moneys as aforesaid shall be borrowed,
except subject to the provisions of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908,
and its amendments.
