IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of river-protection works in the Hutt River District, and shall vest in the Hutt River Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 2 rods 20 perches.
Being portion of Section 17 and accretion thereto (Hutt R.D.), situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District Borough of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 1874.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61613, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.
