Revoking Notice withdrawing Land from a Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by section seven of the Mining Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf,
I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby as from the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette revoke the
Proclamation dated the second day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 18, of the ninth day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-two, withdrawing the area of land
therein described from the Hauraki Mining District.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of

Amending and extending the License authorizing the Taumarunui Borough Council to use Water from the Wanganui
River for the Purpose of generating Electricity, and to erect
Electric Lines within the Borough of Taumarunui, the Manunui Town District, and Portions of the Counties of Kaitieke
and West Taupo (now Taumarunui).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
February, 1925.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
him by section five of the Public Works Amendment
Act, 1908, section two of the Public Works Amendment Act,
1911, and section eight of the Public Works Amendment Act,
1923, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in
that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby amend and extend the terms and conditions set
forth in the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of
February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 20 of the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-one, authorizing the Taumarunui Borough Council to
use water from the Wanganui River for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect electric lines within the Borough
of Taumarunui, the Manunui Town District, and portions of
the Counties of Kaitieke and West Taupo (now Taumarunui),
by adding to clause 15 of the said Order in Council the extended area of supply described in clause 1 of the Schedule
hereto, by adding to clause 16 of the said Order in Council
clause 2 of the Schedule hereto, and by adding to the said
Order in Council clause 3 of the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

  1. Extended Area of Supply.--The extended area of supply
    comprises portion of the Ohura County in part Block II,
    Piopiotea West Survey District, Taranaki Land District; as
    the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
    P.W.D. 60884, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
    Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
    thereon edged red.

  1. System of Supply.--The transmission voltage shall be
    approximately 6,600 volts between phases along the route
    from the powerhouse at Piriaka to the No. 2 Substation in
    Taumarunui Extension No. 2, Taumarunui Borough, shown
    by means of a red line on plans marked P.W.D. 60986, deposited as aforesaid.

  2. Requirements of Ohura County Council.--Notwithstanding anything herein or in the said Order in Council contained,
    the licensee shall not be entitled to erect, maintain, or use
    any electric lines within the Ohura County, except subject to
    such conditions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this
    license, the said Order in Council, and the regulations relating thereto, or any variation of this license, the said Order in
    Council, or the regulations, or new regulations which may
    take the place of these regulations, as may from time to time
    be agreed upon between the licensee and the Ohura County
    Council.

Foreshore at Plimmerton and Paekakariki in the Hutt County
Council.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-first
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 91 of the thirty-first day of the same month, the control of the foreshore
as described in the First Schedule of the hereinbefore-recited
Order in Council was granted to the Hutt County Council:

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said Order in
Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General in
Council of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by
the Harbours Act, 1923, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby revoke
the First Schedule of the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council
of the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred
and seventeen, and doth prescribe the following Schedule
in lieu thereof.

SCHEDULE.

THAT portion of the foreshore at Paraparaumu commencing
at the northern boundary of Section 8, Block III, Kapiti
Survey District, being a point approximately one half-mile
north of the mouth of the Tikotu Creek, and extending
south of the mouth of the Wharemouku Creek; and that
portion of the foreshore at Paekakariki commencing at the
mouth of the Wainui Creek and extending south to the
northern boundary of Section 52, Block III, Paekakariki
Survey District, being a point approximately one mile south
of Beach Road, Paekakariki, as the same is shown in red
on plan marked M.D. 5969, and deposited in the office of the
Marine Department at Wellington.

That portion of the foreshore at Plimmerton commencing
at the northern boundary of Section 80, Block VIII,
Paekakariki Survey District, being a point approximately
mid-way between Plimmerton Township and Walker's Point,
and extending north to the boundary between the Hongoeka
and Motuhara Blocks, being a point approximately one-quarter mile north of Karehana Bay, as the same is shown
on plan marked M.D. 5969, and deposited in the office of the
Marine Department at Wellington.
