THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
so much of the Order in Council dated the seventh day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 61, of the tenth day
of the same month, declaring portions of road in Blocks II,
VI, X, and XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, to be a Govern-
ment road.

Setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-
one of the Land Act, 1924, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for dis-
posal under the section of the Act mentioned.

SECTION 2 Block IV, Opoe Survey District: Area, 98 acres.

Revoking the Limits of the Port of Waikokopu, and defining Others in lieu thereof.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by Warrant dated the twenty-eighth day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and three, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 8, of the fifth day
of February following, limits for the port or harbour of
Waikokpou were defined :

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said limits, and
make others in lieu thereof :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by section six
of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke
the hereinbefore-recited Warrant of the twenty-eighth day
of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, and in
lieu thereof doth hereby define the limits of the port or
harbour of Waikokopu to be as follows :—

“ All that area covered by the sea and by the tidal waters
of the same, contained between the foreshore at high-water
mark, ordinary spring tides, and a straight line drawn
between the north-western extreme of Long Point on Mahia
or Tera Kako Peninsula and the eastern extreme of the
western entrance point of Nuhaka River.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 27th day of January, 1925.

Appointing a Member of the Tauranga Harbour Board.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

WHEREAS it is provided by subsection three of section
thirty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923, that in the
event of an extraordinary vacancy in the office of a non-
elective member of a Harbour Board, the Governor-General
shall, by Warrant under his hand, appoint some qualified
person in his place :

And whereas Gerard Arnold Ward, a non-elective member
of the Tauranga Harbour Board, being deceased, an extra-
ordinary vacancy in the membership of the Board has been
created, and it is desirable to appoint some qualified person
in his place :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby
appoint

John Cuthbert Adams

to be a member of the Tauranga Harbour Board, in place
of the said Gerard Arnold Ward, deceased.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 27th day of January, 1925.

Appointment of Analyst under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908. (H. 2-14.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section three of the Sale of Food
and Drugs Act, 1908, I, Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint

Kenneth Charles Roberts, M.Sc., of Dunedin,

to be an Analyst in accordance with the provisions of the
aforesaid Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 19th day of January, 1925.

Ivan Lloyd, of Waihi,

to be Rangers under the said Act for the Auckland Accli-
matization District.
