EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Volume 29, folio 168, for Section 111, Block XI, of the Kaupokonui Survey District (72 acres 0 roods 16 perches) whereof ALFRED MESSANA, of Kaponga, Farmer, and EMMA BLANCHE MESSANA, his Wife, are the registered proprietors, and application having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such provisional certificate of title as requested, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
Dated at the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth this 1st day of December, 1924.

CANTERBURY CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the CANTERBURY CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (LIMITED), the following special resolution was passed on the 18th day of October, 1924, and confirmed at a further meeting held on the 5th November, 1924:—
“That the company go into voluntary liquidation forthwith in order that the affairs of the company may be wound up, and that A. E. BYRNE be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments; and in the matter of THE COUNTY GARAGE (LIMITED), being a company duly incorporated under the Companies’ Act, 1908, and having its registered office in Marine Parade, Wairoa, H.B.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed at a meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company on the 1st day of November, 1924, and at a further meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, it was confirmed, on the 10th day of November, 1924:—
“That the COUNTY GARAGE (LIMITED) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that HARRY LIONEL HARKER, of Wairoa, Public Accountant, the Secretary of the Company, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”
The creditors of the above-named company are requested to lodge their claims with the undersigned on or before the 12th day of December, 1924.

TARANAKI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS SITUATE IN BLOCK VI, HUIROA SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE ELECTRIC WORKS OF THE BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki Electric-power Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, and the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and its amendments, to execute certain public works—namely, the construction of electric works as defined by the said the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918—and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedule below are required to be taken, particularly for the purpose of constructing and creating a storage reservoir or lake thereon in connection with such electric works.
And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the post-office situate in the Railway-station Buildings at Tariki, and are there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the Taranaki Electric-power Board at its offices situate in Bridge Street, Eltham, Taranaki.
