A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1920, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf
I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 34 acres 0 roods
13 perches.
Portion of Allotment 70, Mangapiko Parish, Block II, Puniu
Survey District, Waipa County. (S.O. 23040, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 33307,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of
February, 1924.

Change of Name of Locality “Buckley” to “Tolaga Bay.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as “Buckley,”
in the County of Uawa, desire that the name of such
locality should be changed to “Tolaga Bay,” and it is
considered expedient to alter the same:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality
known as “Buckley” in the County of Uawa shall be and the
same is hereby altered to “Tolaga Bay,” and do assign the
last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also
do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on the first day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-four, not being earlier than six months
after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1923.

section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Motueka Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

thereon coloured as above mentioned.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of

proclaim as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto.

Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2053, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.
