PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the Pahiatua County Manawatu Gorge Contribution Loan of £1,100, 1924, authorized to be raised by the Pahiatua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying the Council’s contribution to the Manawatu Gorge Board of Control, the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixtieth (1/60th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Pahiatua; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution has been passed:—
“It is hereby resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Messrs. C. H. PYM and JOHN LAURENCE ARCUS, of Wellington, be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”
