EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificates of title, Vol. 88, folio 148, Vol. 88, folio 139; and Vol. 119, folio 126, in favour of ELLEN MUIR, Wife of ALEXANDER GILMORE MUIR, formerly of Matai, but now of Five Rivers, in the County of Southland, for Section 10, a closed road between Sections 9 and 10, and a closed road intersecting the said Section 10, Block III, Highlay District, and application made to me to issue provisional certificates of title, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue provisional certificates of title accordingly, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION STRIKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and amendment thereto, that, for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund on a loan of £5,000, for the erection of workmen’s homes in the Hokianga County, the Hokianga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅙ of a penny in the pound upon all rateable property in the Hokianga County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
