Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Whakatane and County of Whakatane.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Borough of Whakatane are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and published in Gazette No. 28 of the twenty-fourth day of the same month. And also in pursuance of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the County of Whakatane affected by the said Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOROUGH OF WHAKATANE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point at high-water mark on the right bank of the Whakatane River, in line with the northern boundary of Allotment 273, Parish of Waimana, thence in an easterly direction to and along the northern boundary of said Allotment 273; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of Small Grazing-run No. 1 to the south-east corner of Allotment 274, Waimana Parish; thence by a line bearing 220° 15′ to the old Whakatane–Ohiwa Road; thence by a line bearing 236° to the angle of the Whakatane–Ohiwa Road north of peg 126; thence southerly across that road; thence westerly generally along the southern side of said road to the Whakatane–Taneatua Road; thence across the last-named road to the north-east corner of Allotment 261, Parish of Waimana; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries respectively of said Allotment 261 and the southern boundary of Allotment 233, Parish of Waimana; thence south-westerly across a road to a point on the eastern boundary of Allotment 8, Parish
