alienation of the land other than alienation in favour of the
Crown.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land
other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further
period of six months the Order in Council dated the sixth
day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three,
and gazetted the ninth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-three, prohibiting all alienation of the

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than
Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His

Waimairi County Council declared a Leasing Authority under
the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Waimairi County Council is a body of
persons having power to lease lands held in trust,
reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested
the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing
authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases
Act, 1908 :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such
request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf con-
ferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Waimairi
County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of
the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Amendments to the Salary Schedules under the Post and Telegraph
Department Act, 1918.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
July, 1924.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
by the Post and Telegraph Department Act, 1918 (hereinafter
termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations
for the classification and regulation of the Department made under
the said Act and gazetted on the second day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen, as amended by Order in Council gazetted
on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-one, insofar as they relate to the scales showing rates of
salaries and increments of officers of the Department; and doth direct
that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the first day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.
