OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Counties Act, 1920, and the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers and Acts
(if any), the Oroua County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of £850 authorized to be raised by the above-men-
tioned Acts for the purpose of providing the balance of the
Council's share of the cost of improving the Manawatu Gorge
Road, the said Oroua County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 1/150 of a penny in the pound sterling
upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all
rateable property within the Oroua County ; and that such
rate be payable yearly on the first day of April in each year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six
and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
