NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned properties will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, at 11 o’clock a.m., on Friday, 15th August, 1924, under the provisions of sections 8, 9, and 10 of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1921–22.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
Waimea County.—Waimea Survey District.
Part Sections 135, 137, and 139, Block VI: Area, 41 acres 3 roods 7 perches. Title: Freehold, deeds system. Price, £1,900; payable in cash or by deferred payments. Deposit required on deferred payments, £100.
Improvements.—Good six-roomed dwelling, stable, loft, trap-shed, and cowshed with concrete floor. Subdivided into six paddocks. About ten acres sown with lucerne, but not looked after, and practically useless.
Situated in Clover Road, two miles from Brightwater Railway-station, one mile and a half from school, and one mile and a quarter from dairy factory. All flat, very suitable for cropping or dairying.

Takaka County.—Totaranui Survey District.
Section 13, Square 12, Block III: Area, 240 acres. Title: Freehold, deeds system. Price, £850; payable in cash or by deferred payments. Deposit required on deferred payments, £50. The title to this section excludes an area of 5 acres 0 roods 31 perches taken and used for road purposes, also 4 acres conveyed to C. G. T. Harwood.

Situated at Puramahoi, six miles from Takaka by main road, one mile from Puramahoi School and one mile and a half from dairy factory. This property is in two separate sections, distant about half a mile from each other. Very suitable for dairying; half of area is ploughable.

Situated on main road one mile from Foxhill Railway-station and school, nine miles from Brightwater Dairy Factory. Flat to easy undulating country, the greater part being ploughable. All in pasture going back into fern and rubbish. Well watered.
