SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SUBURBAN LAND.
Raetihi Borough.—Town of Raetihi Extension No. 1.
SECTION 42: Area, 2 acres 0 roods 1 perch; upset price, £80.
Situated at the corner of George and Ward Streets, about
one mile from the Raetihi Railway-station by good metalled
road. All in grass, 1½ acres being undulating land, and the
remainder swampy, with a creek running through it. Soil is
of fair quality. Altitude, 1,750 ft. to 1,780 ft.

Opening Land in the Southland Land District for Sale or Selection.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Tuesday, the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four; and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the price at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Southland County.—Toetoes Survey District.
SECTION 16, Block III: Area, 225 acres 0 roods 11 perches. Capital value, £225. Occupation with right of purchase: Half-yearly rent, £5 12s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £4 10s.
Hilly land, mostly covered with light bush. Soil fair to good, on loam and sandstone formation. About one-half ploughable when cleared. Situated ten miles from Waimahaka, one mile being unformed. Suitable for grazing and dairying when cleared.

Warrant authorizing the Masterton County Council to construct a Bridge over Dorset’s Creek on the Main Masterton-Woodville Road (together with Approaches thereto) and apportioning the Cost.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section one hundred and nineteen of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Masterton County Council to construct the bridge (together with approaches thereto) described in the Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that the cost thereof, less such contribution (if any) as may be made thereto by the Government of New Zealand, shall be borne by the Masterton County Council and the Mauriceville County Council in the following proportions—viz., the Masterton County Council shall pay fifty per centum, and the Mauriceville County Council shall pay fifty per centum, of such cost respectively; and I do further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Mauriceville County Council shall be paid from time to time in the proportion hereinbefore prescribed, out of the funds of the said Council, within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Masterton County Council; and all such payments shall be made from time to time to the Clerk of the Masterton County Council for and on behalf of the said Council.

SCHEDULE.
That bridge in the Wellington Land District, Masterton County, over Dorset’s Creek opposite Sections 11 and 51, Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, on the Main Masterton-Woodville Road (together with approaches thereto). As the site of the said bridge and approaches is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57385, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
