Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of June, 1924.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of June, 1924.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wallace County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hastwell Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of June, 1924.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Bray,
Ole Ammundsen,
Arthur Graham Thorby,
William Henry Seymour, and
Alexander Victor Madsen

to be the Hastwell Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, at ten o'clock a.m., as the time when, and Mr. W. H. Seymour's property, Hastwell, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

HASTWELL DOMAIN.—WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 64, Hastwell Village Settlement, Block XIV, Manga-one Survey District: Area, 12 acres 1 rood 24 perches.

Declaring Portion of the Mokauiti Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of June, 1924.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Mokauiti Road in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with the Takiri Road on the North-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 18 and Sections 8, 19, and 9, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the south-western boundary of Section 16, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, being a distance of 45 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59633, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
