Notice of Intention to take Land for Scenic Purposes in Blocks VI, X, XIII, and XIV, Kawhia North, and I and II, Kawhia South Survey Districts.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for scenic purposes. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kawhia, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence for J. Canon Crowe, Dublin; Hugh Gaynor, Castlerea; and Professor Shea, Galway, Ireland.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of any of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to any of the said persons (either by his own or by any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to any of the addresses shown in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
