nationality, or who has acquired the nationality of an Allied
or Associated Power under the provisions of one of the said
Treaties of Peace, or that it is desirable to grant relief to any
person, whether of enemy nationality or not, the Attorney-
General may, by warrant under his hand, release at any time
such property or money or any part thereof from all or any
of the provisions of this Order, or any amendment thereof.
In exercising this power the Attorney-General will be guided
by, but will not necessarily be restricted by, the policy
adopted by the Imperial Government in connection with
similar cases in the United Kingdom.
6. The Public Trustee shall be entitled to charge for all
services rendered by him in connection with his duties under
this Order or any amendment thereof, and the fees to be
charged for such services may be fixed and determined by
him from time to time under the provisions of the Public
Trust Office Regulations.
7. Every Court in New Zealand shall take judicial notice
of the terms of the said Treaties of Saint Germain-en-Laye
and Trianon.
8. This Order may be cited as the Treaty of Peace (Austria
and Hungary) Order, 1924.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day
of January, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart for a site for a public hall:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is
expedient to vest the said reserve in the Tokirima Memorial
Hall Society (Incorporated):
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of
the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto
shall become vested in the Tokirima Memorial Hall Society
(Incorporated), in trust, for a site for a public hall.

Appointment of Examiners under the Nurses Registration Act, 1908.—(H. 91.)
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Nurses Registration Act,
1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the
following persons to be examiners for the purposes of the
above Act, and prescribe the undermentioned fees to be
paid to the examiners so appointed for the performance of
such duties:—
Nurse Examiners.
Miss Beatrice Campbell, R.N. New Plymouth.
Miss Helen Clyde Ingles, R.N., R.M. Napier.
Miss Eva Mary Livesey, R.N. New Plymouth.
Remuneration.
The remuneration for such examiners to be at the rate of
a minimum fee of one guinea for four candidates, and five
shillings for each candidate in excess of that number.

this 12th day of May, 1923.

Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Medical Practitioner Examiner.
Dr. Agnes E. Bennett, M.B., Mast. Surg., University
Edinburgh, 1899; M.D., University Edinburgh, 1911,
to be an examiner for the purpose of the above Act.

Placing Part of Mangaore Stream under Shannon Borough Council.—(H. 109.)

WHEREAS by section sixty-two of the Health Act,
1920, it is provided that the Governor-General may,
if he thinks fit, in the interests of public health, by notice
in the Gazette, place any specified watercourse, stream, lake,
or other source of water-supply, or any specified portion
thereof, under the control of any local authority for the
purpose of preventing the pollution thereof, notwithstanding
that it may not be within the district of that local authority,
or on land belonging to that local authority:
And whereas the Shannon Borough Council is desirous of
obtaining control of portion of the Mangaore Stream for a
borough water-supply and of controlling possible sources of
pollution of such supply:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursu-
ance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on
me by section sixty-two of the Health Act, 1920, do by this
notice place all those portions of the Mangaore Stream and
its tributaries from the Mangaore Power-house to the sources
of that river and its tributaries on the Tararua Range under
the control of the Shannon Borough Council for the purpose
of preventing the pollution thereof,

this 15th day of January, 1924.
