Defence Rifle Club disbanded.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has approved of the disbandment, under section 43, Defence Act, 1909, of the undermentioned Defence Rifle Club :—

Woodville Defence Rifle Club, with headquarters at Woodville.

Date of disbandment, 17th April, 1924.

Award of Colonial Auxiliary Officers’ Decoration.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the award of the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers’ Decoration to the Ven. Archdeacon H. A. Hawkins, Chaplain, 2nd Class, New Zealand Chaplains Department.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District, for the Purposes of a Horse-paddock.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a horse-paddock, And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Te Pohue, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 4 acres 0 roods 6 perches, being portion of Tutira Block.

Situated in Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 741 green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58118, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

As witness my hand at Wellington, this 19th day of May, 1924.
