Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the City of Dunedin, at Caversham.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Dunedin City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 35·55 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (Section 7), Block VI, Town District, City of Dunedin.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 33623, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of May, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in Tapapa Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street: 1 rood.
Being Section 12, Bock XVII, Matamata Township, situated in Block II, Tapapa Survey District. (S.O. 22792.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59227, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of May, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in Drury Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a street:—

0 1 31·9 Allotment 99, Opaheke Suburban Section 1,
(Kirikiri); coloured blue.
0 2 33·3 Allotments 66 and 69, Parish of Opaheke;

Situated in Papakura Town District, Block IV, Drury Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22613.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59138, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Paritutu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 20·54 perches.
Portion of Section 6, Bell District, situated in Block II, Paritutu Survey District (Bell R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59433, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured carmine.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of May, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Tangihua Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

All situated in Block XVI, Tangihua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22259.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59027, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
