General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 3 roods 2ยท5 perches.
Portion of Kapurahoru A Block, situated in Block XII, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 20469.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58750, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of February, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a Post and Telegraph storage-yard; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 24 perches.
Portion of R.S. 145, Block XI, Christchurch Survey District (Borough of Riccarton), (Canterbury R.D.). (S.P. 1867.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58450, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 3 acres 0 roods 20 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 5 and 2, Mairetahi Parish, and Crown land, situated in Block III, Waioneke Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22751.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58781, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Abolishing the Maungakawa Drainage District, County of Piako.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of February, 1924.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council made under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, dated the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, the area described in the Schedule to the said Order in Council was constituted a drainage district under the said Act, to be called the Maungakawa Drainage District:
And whereas a petition, signed by a majority of the rate-payers in the said drainage district, has been presented to the Governor-General praying that the said district may be abolished:
And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the said petition:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred in the said Land Drainage Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the said Maungakawa Drainage District as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
