Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the
Gisborne Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set
apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease
to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner
provided in the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things,
enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended
under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart
for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation
in that behalf :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, John Rushworth, Viscount
Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule
hereto as set apart for selection.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be
subject to the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act,
1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the
recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart
by Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the
twenty-fifth day of that month, is required for settlement
purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting
hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become
subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Provisional State Forest Reserve N.M. 53,
in the Nelson Land District, being Section 20 of Block III,
Inangahua Survey District, containing 83 acres 0 roods
24 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east
by Section 12 and other part of the above-mentioned reserve,
3347·7 links; towards the south-east by other part of the
said reserve, 3199·5 links; towards the south-west by other
part of the said reserve, 1215·9 links and 482·4 links, and by
Section 14, 339·7 links; towards the north-west and again
towards the south-west by Section 4, 1800 links and 1326·9
links respectively; and again towards the north-west by
Section 3, 1400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
26/1465, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

a Small Grazing-run under the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section two hundred and eight of
the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority
enabling me in that behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount
Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare that the run mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hundred and eight to two hundred and twenty-two of Part V of
the Land Act, 1908, relating to small grazing-runs.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—WAIMEA COUNTY.—NATIONAL
ENDOWMENT.
RUN No. 6, Section 7, Block IX, Gordon Survey District:
Area, 1,302 acres.

proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment
Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1921–22, it is enacted that where any
national-endowment land is held under a pasturage lease
or license for a term of not less than fourteen years, of
which not less than seven years have expired, and the Board
is of opinion that the land comprised in the lease or license is
not more than sufficient for the maintenance of the lessee
and his family, the Governor-General may, by Proclamation
approved in Executive Council, declare that the said land
shall cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, which is held under pastoral
license as aforesaid, should cease to be national-endowment
land :
