BOROUGH OF OTAHUHU.

PARK IMPROVEMENT LOAN, £1,000.—RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, to construct playing-fields and facilities for sports in the Otahuhu Public Park, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the rating district comprising the whole of the Borough of Otahuhu ; and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE.—SPECIAL LOAN OF £375,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and all other charges on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board special loan of £375,000 authorized to be raised by the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the following purposes :—
(1.) To supply and distribute electric energy for the benefit of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power District, exclusive of the area comprised within the Borough of Wanganui, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and its amendments, except such matters and things it is empowered to do by sections 88 and 90 thereof, and in particular, but without limiting in any way any of the aforesaid powers, to provide, erect, and construct a system of electrical distribution and reticulation, to purchase plant, land, easements, general equipment, and any existing electrical installations and plants, and to erect generating-stations, buildings, and offices within or without such district as hereinbefore defined, £355,000 ;
