lency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order
in Council dated the twenty-first day of December, one
thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 2, of the tenth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and seven, exempting Victoria and
Belvedere Roads, Kilbirnie, in the City of Wellington, from
the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the
Public Works Act, 1905, subject to certain conditions as to
the building-line, by cancelling the building-line condition in
so far as such condition affects Belvedere Road, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington.

Consenting to the raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of December, 1923.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said
loans.

Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to a certain Block of
Native Land.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of
December, 1923.

THE HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the West Coast
And whereas it is expedient that the provisions of section
one hundred and nine aforesaid shall apply to the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto, for the purchase of which
the Crown desires to negotiate:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by section twenty-
three of the West Coast Settlement Reserves Amendment
Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that the provisions of section one hundred and nine
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to
the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Ngatitupaea A, being Section 19, Block II, Hawera Survey
District: Area, 242 acres.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the portion of road declared to be a
Government road: 3 acres 2 roods 22 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 7, situated in Block I,
Gimmerburn Survey District (Otago R.D.).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58236,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road: 1 acre 0 roods 30 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 197, and Crown land,
Te Pun Parish, situated in Block IX, Tauranga Survey
District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22570.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56660,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.
