Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Taneatua Section, in Block IX, Whakatane Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Taneatua Section, in Block IX, Whakatane Survey District; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre 2 roods 30 perches.

Portion of Crown land situated in Waimana Parish, Block IX, Whakatane Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22808.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57002 (sheet 8), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railways connecting the Wairoa to Waikokopu Branch of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway with ballast-pits in Block VII, Nuhaka Survey District.

Defining the Middle-line of a Portion of the Te Roti – Opunake Railway Extension (Portion of Line between Opunake and Moturoa).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a portion of the Te Roti–Opunake Railway Extension (portion of line between Opunake and Moturoa) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Section 42, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, marked 53 miles, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of about 2 miles 36·375 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Part Sections 42, parts 12, 11, Sections 41, 60, 58, part 137, all in Omata District, and part 811, Grey District, all in Block IV, Paritutu Survey District; and terminating at a point in railway reserve marked 55 miles 36·375 chains, being about 2 miles 26 chains on the centre-line of the extension of the Foxton–New Plymouth Main Line of railway from New Plymouth to the Breakwater at Moturoa. As shown on plan marked P.W.D. 12865, and as described in a Proclamation dated the 9th day of March, 1885, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 15, of the 12th day of March, 1885, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. All in the Taranaki Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58367, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier end, part Tutira and Waikare Sections) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in the river-bank reserve, Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District, on the south bank of the Waikoau River, marked 26 miles 66 chains, which point is the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated 12th day of September, 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 68 of the 13th day of September, 1923, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of about 6 miles 64 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Tutira Block, Blocks XII and VIII, Maungaharuru Survey District, and Block V, Moeangiangi Survey District, and part Section 1, Block VI, Moeangiangi Survey District, and terminating in the said Section 1, Block VI, Moeangiangi Survey District, at a point marked 33 miles 50 chains, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58434, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1923.
