Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1923.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 1 rood 15 perches.
Being portion of Section 2004, Block XII, Waitaha Survey District (Westland R.D.).

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56613, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of November, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped:
2 acres 1 rood 6·4 perches.
Adjoining Sub. 1 of 32, E.R. 36, E.R. 2, situated in Block VI, Ngatimaru Survey District (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 6183.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 58289, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1923.

Amending Regulations under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1923.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”) His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations under the said Act made on the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two.

SCHEDULE.

CLAUSE 37 of the said regulations is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraph :—
(c.) For the perusal only of documents in connection with the transfer or conveyance of lands from His Majesty to purchasers thereof—

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Coal-mines Act, 1908, and its amendments, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following additional amendment to the regulations made on the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and the eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and seventeenth day
