Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twelfth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in Block IX, Ahaura Survey District, Westland Land District, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1599, containing by admeasurement 483 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less, and comprising all those portions of Sections 3095, 3096, and 3097 situated to the eastward of Nelson Creek, together with the road reserve along Nelson Creek and the road reserve between portion of Section 3096 and portion of Section 3097. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of January, 1923.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of widening Willis Street in the City of Wellington, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1Β·54 perches. Portion of Section 117, Town of Wellington, situated in the City of Wellington. (S.O. 1718.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56085, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of January, 1923.
