NOTE.—For single men at institutions a deduction of £60 per annum for board and quarters will be made.

For female attendants at institutions a deduction of £30 per annum for board and quarters will be made. Housekeepers at Probation Homes to be classed as Sub-Matrons.

(ii.) The salaries shown in the above scale for Native-school teachers are subject to reduction under the Public Expenditure Adjustment Act, 1921-22 (first and second reductions).
