ERRATUM.—In the seventh line of the Second Schedule to the Order in Council describing the area of the Waiapu Acclimatization District, published in New Zealand Gazette No. 27, of the 29th March, 1923, page 858, for “Waimata Survey District” read “Uawa Survey District.”


Fixing Representation of Tahuna Riding, County of Piako.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted on the twenty-ninth day of the same month, a certain area added to the County of Piako was declared to be included in a riding to be known as the Tahuna Riding of that county:

And whereas it is desirable to fix the number of Councillors for the said Tahuna Riding:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section sixty-nine of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that one member shall be elected for the said Tahuna Riding of the said County of Piako.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of May, 1923.

Land proclaimed as a Road in Katikati Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Katikati Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

Situated in Block XII, Katikati Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/664, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2014, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1923.

Setting apart Portion of the Rotoiti Native Township, Auckland Land District, as a Scenic Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-one of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1922, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of Rotoiti Native Township described in the Schedule hereto is hereby vested in His Majesty the King, to be held in perpetuity in trust as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 59 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being part of Rotoiti
