FIRST SCHEDULE.
All that area comprising the County of Coromandel and Gannet Island.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Area, in addition to those referred to in condition No. 3, excepted from the open season wherein imported game and native game shall not be taken or killed:-
Gannet Island.

Open Season for Imported Game and Native Game, License Fee, &c., East Coast Acclimatization District.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 1st day of May to the 31st day of July, 1923 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the East Coast Acclimatization District, as described in the Schedule hereto, except in the areas referred to in condition No. 3, for the taking or killing of the following imported game—viz., cock pheasants and California quail; and the 1st day of May to the 30th day of June, 1923 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the said district for the taking or killing of the following native game—viz., grey duck and black teal—subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
- LICENSES to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings (20s.) each, and the Chief Postmaster at Gisborne is hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
- The number of such native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed twenty-five head in all.
- Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.
- No person shall kill or destroy any such imported game or native game, or shoot at or attempt to shoot at any such imported game or native game, with any automatic or auto-loading gun, unless it is converted into a gun capable of carrying two cartridges only, or with any rifle or pea-rifle, swivel-gun or pump-gun, or shall use any gun other than a shoulder-gun ; and no gun shall be used for the purpose aforesaid the bore of which is larger than the size known as No. 12 at the muzzle, nor shall any gun be used which exceeds 10 lb. in weight.
- Any person committing a breach of any of these conditions is liable, on conviction, to a fine of £20.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 1st day of May to the 31st day of July, 1923 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in the Feilding and District Acclimatization District, as described in the Schedule hereto, except in the areas referred to in condition No. 3, for the taking or killing of the following imported game and native game—viz., hares, cock pheasants, Californian quail, Australian quail, grey duck, and black swan—subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
- LICENSES to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings (20s.) each; and
the Postmasters at Feilding, Kimbolton, Apiti, Halcombe, Pohangina, Rangiawahia, and Ashhurst are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses. - The number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed twenty-five head of each kind of such imported game and twenty-five head in all of such native game.
- Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

SCHEDULE.
All that area comprised within the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by the Kawhatau and Pourangaki Streams from the Rangitikei River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence towards the east generally by the summit of that range to the Manawatu Gorge, and by the Manawatu River to the Raukawa Road; thence towards the south generally by that road which forms the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 455 and 454, Block VIII, Kairanga Survey District, to the Palmerston-Ashhurst Road; thence by that road to Stony Creek Road; thence by that road and the railway-line to the Oroua River; thence by that river to Awahuri; and thence by the Awahuri-Bull's Road to the Rangitikei River; and towards the north-west generally by the Rangitikei River to the Kawhatau Stream aforesaid.

CONDITIONS.
- LICENSES to take or kill such imported game only within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each, and licenses to take or kill such native game only will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Chief Post-master at Greymouth and the Postmasters at Ahaura, Black-ball, Brunner-ton, Moana, Nelson Creek, Ngahere, Otira, Roa, Runanga, Stillwater, Totara Flat, and Waiuta are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
- The number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day shall not exceed twenty hares, and twenty head in all of grey duck, black teal, and black swan.
- Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game or native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game or native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.
