Native Land for Leasing.
WRITTEN tenders are invited and will be received up to 4 o’clock p.m. on the 26th March, 1923, for the lease of the land known as Lot 8, Section 4, Rotohokahoka F, situate about three miles from Rotorua and adjacent to the Fairy Spring.
This land is vested in the Board under Part XV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and the lease will be issued in compliance with that Act and the regulations made thereunder.
Area: 7 acres 0 roods 23 perches.
Term: Seventeen years from 1st January, 1923, with right of renewal for another seventeen years.
Upset rental: £10 per annum.
Board will grant rebate of rental for period intervening between 1st January, 1923, and date of acceptance of tender.
Provision for revaluation at end of first seventeen years. Rent for renewed term to be 5 per cent. of the then unimproved value, or to be the amount of the first term, whichever is the greater.
