HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Hastings Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, being part 10 per cent. additional on the £68,250 Street Improvements, &c., Loan, 1914, authorized to be raised by the Hastings Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for that portion of the said loan applying to street improvements, footpaths, &c., water extensions, and sewer connections, the said Hastings Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/18th of a penny in the pound, being a part of the special rate of 1d. and 2/9ths of a penny in the pound made and levied in respect to the original loan, upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Hastings, comprising the whole of the Borough of Hastings; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of extending the gas-mains and the purchase of material required therefor, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/5th of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
And, further, that the Public Trustee be and is hereby appointed Commissioner of the sinking fund in respect of the said £5,000 loan.
I certify the foregoing to be a true extract.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a footbridge over the Omaka River from Henry Street to Rothwell Street, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/20th of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
And, further, that the Public Trustee be and is hereby appointed Commissioner of the sinking fund in respect of the said £1,000 loan.

THE TEVIOT ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and amendments, the Teviot Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £35,000, authorized to be raised by the Teviot Electric-power Board, under the above-mentioned Act and amendments thereof, for the purpose of carrying out a hydro-electric scheme within its district, the said the Teviot Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence (4d.) in the one pound sterling (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Teviot Electric-power District, comprising the whole of its district, and the boundaries of which district are set forth and described in detail in the New Zealand Gazette numbered 68, of 22nd July, 1920, pages 2193/4, and which district includes the whole of the Borough of Roxburgh and parts of the Benger Survey District, Teviot Survey District, and Beaumont Survey District, in Otago, New Zealand; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the thirtieth day of June in each and every year (the first of such instalments being due and payable on the thirtieth day of June, 1923) during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAKE notice that the Partnership subsisting between HERBERT CARL SHARPE, WILLIAM JOHN TELFORD, and ALFRED DAVIES, of Wairoa, Builders, has been terminated as from the 30th day of September, 1922, and the business heretofore carried on under the style of "Sharpe, Davies, and Telford" is now carried on by the said HERBERT CARL SHARPE and WILLIAM JOHN TELFORD.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
THE Partnership heretofore carried on by JOHN BLACK, GERASIMAS GAMBITSIS, and JARRY RAFTOPULOS as Cafe Proprietors at No. 70 Lambton Quay, Wellington, in the business known as the Parliamentary Cafe is hereby mutually dissolved as from this date. The Parliamentary Cafe will as from this date be carried on by JOHN BLACK, LEWIS FRANCIS HASTINGS, and JOSEPH LEO GRANT, all of Wellington, Cafe Proprietors, the purchasers of the said business. All outstanding debts will be discharged by the old Partnership, but debts incurred from this date will be payable by the new firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at the Social Hall, Grand Opera House, Wellington, on the 4th day of December, 1922, the following special resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company held at the same place on the 19th day of December, 1922, the said resolution was duly confirmed,
