Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 9 acres 2 roods 6·5 perches.

Portion of Tahoraite 2A 32E Block, situated in Block VI, Tahoraite Survey District.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/677, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2005, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of February, 1923.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the area shown in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

SECTION 8, Block XXXVII, Town of Alexandra: Area, 10 acres 3 roods 12 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of February, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Totaranui Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of February, 1923.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Gravel Reserve in Block II, Makotuku Survey District, Waimarino County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel reserve, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimarino, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 35 perches.

Portion of part Subdivision 2 of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku Survey District. (S.O. 1400.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56129, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of February, 1923.
